LOGO STORY
The logo design for the 14th Baltic States Triennial Conservators’ Meeting is based on an abstract shape symbolizing the territories of the three Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) on the map. This shape is constructed from simplified icons representing various objects and fields encompassed by the work of conservators and restorers. The icons symbolize areas such as architectural heritage preservation, historical object restoration, painting conservation, and archival preservation of writings.
These elements visually tell the story of the diversity of history that conservators strive to preserve and pass on. The concept of the logo thus reflects not only the geographical belonging but also the essence of conservators’ daily work – safeguarding the heritage and culture of different eras.
